SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
Thanks to the achievements of the last few years, scientific cooperation is now one of the most dynamic components of the relationship between Vietnam and Italy. This cooperation takes place under the Fourth Executive Cooperation Programme for Science and Technology, based on an agreement signed by the two countries in 1992. The most important fields are agriculture, computer science, the environment, health, conservation and restoration. On March 12, 2009, the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister, On. Stefania Craxi, signed the Fourth Executive Cooperation Programme for Science and Technology, for the period 2009-2011, approving 5 bilateral research projects aimed at the mobilization of researchers and 6 projects of high relevance.
